Under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region and the Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and with the support of Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan Al Nahyan, Assistant to the Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority for Women's Affairs, the "Preserving Blessings" initiative was launched in 2004. This initiative aims to enhance social solidarity and build strong relationships of cooperation and support between benefactors and those with limited income and needy families, promoting a shift from extravagance in dealing with blessings to preservation and sustainability.
